  • What is better Hypalon or PVC?
I guess that one of those age-old arguments, and we don’t have the space here to cover it completely. PVC is the most commonly used material in inflatables around the world and will stand the test of time and the weather with proper maintenance. With its light weight, its main advantage is its competitive price, which is sure to tip the balance. If you store it under cover, PVC will be a good fabric for your boat. Hypalon is a tough material , unlike PVC, hypalon is a rubber and it cannot be heat-welded. It will remain in excellent condition for a very long time, but always with proper maintenance. It's a material that takes its strength from its UV resistance, useful in sunny regions, but also when exposed to all weather conditions for long periods, during anchoring or outdoor storage, for example. However, it's not a magic material and you still need to clean your RIB with fresh water to ensure your boat stands the test of time.
  • what is the maintenance for a Highfield boat?
To maintain your boat’s good condition, clean it out and wash it thoroughly with soapy water. Rinse carefully and check that no dirt or foreign bodies such as shell, sand or fishing hooks are left inside that might deteriorate the fabric. Use a recommended Inflatable Boat Cleaner and protectant like August Race to prolong the life of your boat.
